As a Specialist in Embedded Software Applications, the role involves comprehensive functional development, encompassing requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing, and verification. Specialization within a technical domain such as Vehicle, HMI, Combustion, Engine Aftertreatment, Electro Mobility, Powertrain Control, Control Theory, Mechatronics, or Diagnostics is a key aspect. You will be leading system engineering within a technical team and actively contributing to the delivery process are crucial responsibilities. Integration of deliveries from various sources is essential, with a focus on ensuring quality and readiness before release.

The role often centers around early phases of the development cycle, involving the creation of technical roadmaps. Networking across the organization and influencing work in other sites are integral to success. Additionally, the position involves the continuous development of acquired competencies and active participation in business development initiatives.
