We are looking for a Project Manager within Global Outbound Logistics on behalf of our client.

Role description

  • Lead the Outbound Logistics Distribution Transformation Program consisting of the five ingoing projects:
    – Work Order Management for Ports/Compounds
    – Pilot Transport Management System (TMS) for Sweden & Norway
    – Pilot Yard Management System (YMS) in Torslanda Plant
    – Full Transport Management System (TMS) roll-out for EMEA, US and APAC
    – Full Yard Management System (YMS) roll-out for Charleston Plan, Ghent Plant and APAC plants
  • Coordinate and drive together with SMEs the review of existing operational processes, identify areas of improvement and develop plans for how the new YMS/TMS must function to meet Outbound Logistics needs
  • Coordinate and drive together with SMEs the harmonization of business process across regions and thus make the new YMS/TMS a global solution
  • Plan and prioritize work to meet commitments and project timelines
  • Secure quality deliverables from the Program and the ongoing Projects
  • Identify risks and issues and drive corrective actions
  • Prepare and run Steering Group meetings and Program meetings
  • Follow the TMO Project Management Framework for Project Management

Experience

  • Extensive experience from driving transformation initiatives within the area of Outbound Logistics
  • Experience from collaboration with Digital (IT) to set requirements, monitor progress and evaluate developed solutions
  • Experience from automotive or other high volume complex product mass-customization industry
