Assignment description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Information Architect to join our client’s project to implement a new employee experience platform for internal communication. The Information Architect will play a crucial role in designing and organizing complex information structures to enhance user experience, streamline data flow, and ensure optimal accessibility. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, plan, and implement information architecture solutions that align with business goals and user needs.

Information Analysis and Assessment:

• Conduct thorough analysis of existing information structures and content to identify gaps, redundancies, and areas for improvement
• Evaluate user needs and business objectives to define requirements for effective information architecture

Information Design and Modeling:

• Develop comprehensive information models, taxonomies, and metadata frameworks to organize and classify information assets
• Design intuitive navigation systems and information hierarchies to optimize user experience and facilitate content discovery

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with UX/UI designers, content creators, developers, and other Stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of information architecture into digital products and platforms
• Clearly communicate complex concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical team members

Usability Testing and Feedback Integration:

• Conduct usability testing to gather feedback on information architecture designs and iterate based on user insights
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve information structures and user interactions through feedback loops and data-driven analysis

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Information Architecture, UX Design, or related field
• Master’s degree is a plus
• Proven experience as an Information Architect or in a similar role
• Experience in project implementation of intranets in global organizations
• Experience in implementation of intranet base on SaaS platforms in collaboration with Microsoft 365
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in using information architecture tools and software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills

Preferred skills:

• Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and content strategy
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines
• Project management skills to coordinate and manage complex information architecture projects
