Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a Data Engineer. The company is on an ambitious journey to redefine the customer experience in automotive through digital technology. One success factor is to continuously get fast feedback from their consumers and cars, on their products and services.

The department, Product Validation and Functional Architecture, enable consumer data driven insights within the company in order to understand and confirm consumer value their future and current products. This is done by refining data from Co-Development platform and by developing tools that enable data collection and visualization.

What you’ll do:

The WICE team is responsible for developing and maintaining Wireless Information Collection Environment to enable data collection from the fleet vehicles.

You will define requirements based on inhouse stakeholder needs and coordinate the development of WICE HW and SW with suppliers. You will manage the WICE portal by matching the relevant car with the WICE KIT in all vehicle variants, and you will be responsible for the access handling of recourse groups.

You will work with verification, both when deploying new SW and setting up new assignments depending on the need of the fleet data collection capability and also when installing WICE in a new program or vehicle model. Fault tracing will also be part of the work in collaboration with colleagues with various skills.

You will work in close collaboration with vehicle fleet management, metrology support, Electrical Engineers. Data Engineers, and suppliers for HW and SW development.

You and your skills:

You have experiences within Automotive industry, fault tracing and diagnostics. You are comfortable using Automotive protocols, such as CAN, LIN, Flexray and UDS. You have experience from using Canalyzer and CANoe.
You have ability to plan and prioritize with a flexible mind-set and with high integrity. Your analytical skills are excellent, and you like to work independently as well as in teams. Your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal helps you to collaborate in an efficient way with colleagues and suppliers. We want you to be confident in your profession and transparent in your communication.

You have a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent area and you have a Swedish B driver’s license.
At the company, English is the corporate language, requiring fluent skills both written and orally.
