Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior HIL Engineer for ART Longitudinal Vehicle Control.
ART Longitudinal Vehicle Control, a department within Vehicle Motion Control, is responsible for developing control algorithms to ensure energy-efficient and safe torque and power distribution, as well as balancing attributes related to longitudinal control.
The two teams within ART Longitudinal Vehicle Control are responsible for calibrating and testing the LVC software for both hybrid and electric vehicles. They are currently seeking their next team member. Working as an engineer within this group will afford you the opportunity to influence vehicle performance, driving characteristics, features, and range.
As part of an expansion phase in software testing, test automation, and continuous integration, they are now looking for a Senior HIL Engineer to bring additional competence to this area. You will be a member of the testing team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop test and rig strategies for integration scenarios and achieve comprehensive integration test coverage.
- Create a roadmap for test strategies related to integration scenarios and the continuous integration (CI) chain.
- Provide support for fault tracing during integration events.
- Review customer requirements.
- Write test methods.
- Perform tests.
- Generate test reports.
As a test engineer, you will work across all ongoing projects and be part of a dynamic team that interacts not only within ART but also with other departments.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering.
- Extensive experience in HIL, software, and testing.
- 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written).
- Driver’s license (B).
