Assignment Description

Our client is looking for an IT Service Specialist for an assignment in Lodz, Poland.

Location:

• Globally at any of the company’s locations possible, preferably a major site
• Hybrid work or home office based is an option

What you’ll do:

• Role in the back-office function of Central Support
• Central hardware and communication line monitoring
• Change management administration
• Software deployment and testing
• Documentation creation and administration
• Server Firmware and OS patching
• Weekend working 1 time per month following annual schedule required

Qualifications: 

• Service-orientated personality with the ability to multitask
• Ability to function as part of a team as well as working independently is required
• Structured, thorough and systematic work ethics is mandatory
• Education in information technology and/or min 5 years’ experience in a similar role as IT Professional
• Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems (both Client & Server)
• Strong knowledge of supporting and maintaining VMware environments
• Knowledge and experience of Cyber Security seen as a benefit
• Experience with automation of software installation is an advantage
• Ability to understand and design process diagrams is an advantage
• Strong knowledge within TCP/IP networking and Active Directory will be an advantage
• Strong skillset in scripting and/or programming is a benefit
• Experience with RPA to automate some processes seen as benefit
• Fluent English (verbal and written) are mandatory

Good to have:

• Other foreign language skills seen as benefit
• Work experience from a global organization is an advantage
