Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software Developer.

Providing IT platforms that enable developers to unleash their creativity in building products and services is crucial in a modern, software-first world. As a Senior Software Developer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality software that aligns with business needs through effective IT platforms.

Our client’s mission is to develop, support, operate, and maintain core IT platforms and tools to address their short-term and long-term business challenges. They are responsible for maximizing the value of their IT platforms, balancing development and lifecycle management, and ensuring platform functionality and stability. They serve as enablers for software development teams, collaborating closely with developers to deliver best-in-class solutions to customers and develop solutions for developers.

Qualifications:

• Senior software developer with a solid working knowledge of C# and .NET microservice APIs.
• Thorough understanding of agile software development processes and practices.
• Experience with platform teams and self-service products and capabilities.
• Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, including storage, Key Vault, containers, and familiarity with Azure Portal.
• Experience with Azure API Management.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs.
• Understanding of containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Event-Driven Systems and Architecture.
• DevOps experience, including supporting and testing code.
• Proficiency in Rabbit MQ and distributed event-driven systems.
• Experience with Azure Event Grid.
• Knowledge of integration strategy and architecture.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development.
• Experience with Postman and API testing.
• Previous involvement with platform teams focusing on self-service.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps (pipelines and infrastructure-as-code).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and Kibana.
