Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Functional Safety Function Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and review stakeholder and system requirements.
- Design concepts and solutions based on input requirements.
- Develop application software components for traction inverters according to software standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.
- Test solutions from unit level to system integration.
- Support the integration of software components and solutions.
- Support continuous improvements of processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Control Engineering, or similar field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in model-based development with MATLAB/Simulink, including code generation and relevant toolboxes for validation and requirements management.
- Experience in the development of traction inverter systems (inverter + e-machine).
- Knowledge of torque estimation, torque arbitration and monitoring, and safe states (FW/ASC) is a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting languages.
- Experience with analysis and testing tools, such as Simulink Test and Test Viewer.
- Familiarity with software development processes (e.g., GIT) and automotive development processes (e.g., V-Model, ASPICE).
- Knowledge and experience in AUTOSAR.
