Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Hardware Engineer.

They are part of a team called Electric Driveline Complete within the Electric Driveline Unit. Their responsibilities span from Advanced Engineering and pre-Concept to the Industrialization of complete E-Axles. They are the core of the department, collaborating with component and system teams, as well as verification teams. Their tasks include performing conceptual studies for new technology and driving Advanced Engineering, including benchmarking competitor products.

They are responsible for delivering the complete E-axle from production, including documentation, quality assurance, geometry assurance, data analysis, coordination between departments and teams, and fulfilling requirements to achieve quality-assured, on-time delivery. ED Complete is divided into two sub-teams: the Pre-concept Team and the Industrialization Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting both their sub-teams and teams within their department with strong knowledge in geometry assurance (such as tolerance chain/stack-up calculation) using 3DCS and CETOL6.
  • Supporting with data science analysis.

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
  • Experience with Geometric Design and Tolerancing (GD&T) using 3DCS & CETOL6.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience working in the automotive industry with product development.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Knowledge in Catia V5, Teamcenter, CM4D is meritorious.
