Assignment Description

Our client is currently seeking a CITRIX Support Specialist. They require additional support and development for their CITRIX environment, catering to both their internal needs and those of their customers who utilize CITRIX and peripheral services. These services are hosted in both cloud and on-premises environments, with the control plane operating in Citrix Cloud and all workloads on-premises hosts.

You will be responsible for managing direct interactions with end-users regarding solution requirements, encompassing both one-time and ongoing deliveries within the context of application management.

Your main interfaces will be with users, support teams, and operation teams. The role demands a thorough understanding of solutions, combined with knowledge of related processes, solution dependencies, and interfaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Citrix technology solutions and their benefits.
  • Act as the second-line support for Citrix-related issues.
  • Serve as the Single Point of Contact for other IT support units and suppliers.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures for the Service Desk when necessary.
  • Drive projects and assignments within the portfolio.
  • Act as a liaison between users, other IT support units, and suppliers.
  • Communicate changes effectively.
  • Provide support in the following areas: Citrix Cloud, basic Citrix Cloud suite, daily case management, collaboration ServiceDesk, and Onsite support.

Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of Citrix PVS, including creation, administration, and maintenance of vDisks.
  • Familiarity with environment management via Citrix Director (help-desk functionality).
  • Understanding of network setup, cache types, and streaming services.
  • Experience with PVS Server upgrade and Nutanix.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).
  • Understanding of VMware vCenter, including creation, administration, and maintenance of vCenter.
  • Familiarity with VMware ESXi/vCenter, computing, virtualization software, and services.
  • Proficiency in profile management and Windows Server administration.
  • Well-documented knowledge of Windows 10, with a merit for Linux knowledge.
