Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Parts Supply & Logistics (PS&L).

What you’ll do:

  • Analyze, design, and build software solutions based on the requirements from the Parts Supply & Logistics business.
  • As a Software Engineer for the PS&L cluster, you will be part of a team leading the enablement of an end-to-end high-performance chain for the client’s Logistics department. This cluster delivers digital solutions supporting business customers in ensuring stable logistics flows of spare parts to global destinations.
  • You will collaborate with Tech leads, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and business stakeholders, ensuring that the software you develop works as designed and undergoes testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand business process requirements.
  • Design, build, and test appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on issues and incidents.
  • This role operates from our office in Gothenburg.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant technical expertise, with at least a few years of experience in similar positions such as Solution Architect, Application Architect, or IT Architect, working with on-premises, cloud, and hybrid solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with modernization initiatives, developing innovative solutions, blueprints, and standards for solution design.
  • Proficiency in broad architecture diagramming and complex data management.
  • Ability to challenge ideas and design approaches constructively.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining business solution architectures under any formal framework.
  • Strong networking skills with internal and external contacts.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively in business language.
  • Enhanced communication, analysis, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience working in a global cross-functional organization.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written, along with an interest in networking and creating relationships.
  • Academic degree in IT, computer science, or engineering.
  • Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics, Automotive, or aftermarket distribution is desirable.
