Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a Lead System Engineer.

At the client’s department of Core System Software, the teams are building the next generation high-performance in-vehicle compute cluster, designed to host different vehicle applications, stretching from basic vehicle state machines to advance active safety and unsupervised autonomous drive functionalities. This compute cluster will be launched in their coming generation of pure electric and self-driving car models. The team’s task is to create a safe, reliable, and secure software that serve as a platform for stakeholders and partners to deploy and innovate their applications on.

The client’s multi-core architecture includes high-performance (HP) systems on a chip (SoC), providing a framework for current and future services. They are now looking for a lead system engineer with a genuine problem-solving attitude to strengthen their software development organization.

What you’ll do:

You will be part of an agile organization delivering a software to our high performance platform. Work tight with product managers to priorities, visualize and follow up the functional safety work needed for the different car projects. Lead a group of system engineers that delivers safety artifacts and that guides development teams in their deliverables.

You should be a senior system engineer, self-driven, great communicator and a proactive team player with high ambitions. You have excellent knowledge or experience in following areas:

• Functional safety standard, ISO-26262
• Automotive experience
• Project leadership or product owner experience
• Requirement management
• Embedded software
• Software development processes
