Assignment Description

We are looking for an interim Digital Product Owner who can lead one of our client’s Global Trade and Compliance product teams in the automotive industry. This position will be available until permanent recruitment is in place.

You will belong to the cluster of Outbound Logistics and Global Trade & Compliance, helping to secure digital solutions for Trade that support the client’s global supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.

Main Responsibilities:

• Articulating short- and long-term vision of the Trade Product to the team and relevant stakeholders, roadmap, and content presentations.
• Leading the team and helping to prioritize, decide, and refine the stories in the Team Backlog, including defects and enablers.
• Maximizing consumer value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the product backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/components for the team.
• Ensuring the end-to-end operations of the product.
• Collaborating with the team and architects to ensure state-of-the-art technical solutions.
• Coordinating projects/content dependencies with other Product Owners.
• Collaborating with external partners and vendors.

Required Qualifications:

• Genuine interest in software development.
• Experience in Supply Chain, preferably in global trade.
• Experience in IT solutions and automotive and/or supply chain processes, preferably within Trade in connection with Inbound, Outbound, and Aftermarket.
• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, or equivalent role.
• Experience leading SaaS vendors and in-house development teams.
• Ability to understand Supply Chain data models.
• Proven experience in ITIL processes.
• Experience in data integration (MQ, API, etc.).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with teams and global stakeholders.
• Experience using software development tools such as Azure DevOps.
