Assignment description

Our customer is building Scaling support for the Cloud Transformation initiative. It is designed to help, guide, accelerate and align Cloud Initiatives using the GCP platform. Therefore the company is looking for a small team, a duo, from the same firm/consultant company who can help them on this journey.

As a Cloud Engineer in this assignment you will:

• Help and educate the development teams how to move and develop applications in the GCP platform
• Support will continuously develop and you need to document the “Way Of Supporting” Cloud Initiatives to reuse and automate and improve the support for future Cloud Initiatives
• Help the company to understand cloud and cloud technology and opportunities
• Help teams with the design thinking according to the company’s standard and principles
• Help the teams to setup their environment to start developing, testing and releasing
• Train the trainers within the development teams

Skills/-experience needed:

• Cloud solutions such as GCP
• Working hands on with Infrastructure as Code, automation and various flavors of CI/CD
• Scripting with PowerShell and Python and working with Terraform.
• Monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana and Cloud vendors’ observability techstacks
• Fundamental Networking (Http, TCP, Firewalls)
• Competence on deploying COTS applications into GCP
• Github actions
• Gitlab
• Fluent in English, Swedish is a merit
