Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Lab Engineer to our client. You will play a key role as Lab Engineer for the development of high-quality tools used by industry customers worldwide. You will be responsible for assembling and testing their prototypes and products. However, this is more than just a hands-on role, as you are involved from the design phase up to the release to market of the product. You work in close cooperation with design, quality, production and other functions within the organization.

This is an exciting role for someone who has a passion for mechatronic systems and sound knowledge and experience of integration and testing.

Your main tasks:

• Assemble prototypes and integrate modules together (mechanical, electrical and software).
• Perform testing (safety, functional, performance, endurance at both component and system level) both in-house or at customer.
• Perform lab equipment improvement and maintenance.
• Contribute to test and verification processes and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to other engineers in your areas of expertise.

You report to Team Manager Mechanical Systems within their Mechatronics department, R&D.
