Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a SW Calibration Engineer – Thermal Management.

Green Propulsion and Thermal Management are increasingly important areas for our client to lead in Electrification. Are you a software developer eager to contribute to energy-efficient propulsion? Then this is your chance! You will be part of the Thermal Software Group, which designs and monitors various temperature levels, cooling, heating, heat transfer, and storage for electric motors, batteries, control modules, etc., all with a focus on sustainability. Together, they take complete ownership of Thermal Management, from initial architectural sketches to software release and monitoring in vehicles. Your focus will be optimizing the software controlling the Thermal System.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of a BSc in mechatronics, electrical, or electronics, with solid experience in software development processes.
- Previous experience in software development, control optimization, or software verification.
- Familiarity with software development processes and understanding of control optimization tools.
- Experience using data analysis to optimize software.
- Curiosity, structured approach, good analytical skills, and a strong technical interest.
- Experience in software development and System design within automotive development is advantageous.
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink.
- System design and Function ownership within automotive development will be beneficial.
- Experience in Thermal Management systems is advantageous.
- Experience with Simulink, TargetLink, Python, and C/C++ is advantageous.
- A valid driving license (B) is required.
- A valid driving license (BE) is advantageous.
