Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an experienced Engineering Lead with battery knowledge to lead electrical/system design activities, establish plans with suppliers, communicate internally and externally, ensure product quality, and meet delivery schedules.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and participate in electrical/system design activities from concept to industrialization, delivering technical solutions.
• Establish DV (Design Validation) and PV (Product Validation) plans with suppliers.
• Communicate externally with suppliers and internally with various disciplines within EPS, including Logistics, Manufacturing, and Aftermarket.
• Manage the component delivery time plan, change management, and report to the Propulsion project team.
• Conduct corresponding SFMEA reviews.
• Oversee product releases.
• Collaborate with SQM to ensure the proper quality standard of the BDU product.

Required Qualifications:

• M.Sc or B.Sc in Electronics or an equivalent university degree.
• 5 years of experience in component development and supplier management.
• Experience in dimensioning electrical components and system design.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is a plus.
• Experience in automotive High Voltage electrical systems and power distribution.
• Familiarity with HV standards such as China Battery GB standards, UNECE R100, and various IEC, SAE, and ISO battery standards.
• Basic knowledge in safety aspects of power electronics components.
• Good understanding of how to apply knowledge and modify models to current issues.
