Assignment Description
Our client is currently seeking a Translation Solution Architect. In this role, you will work in a dynamic, agile, cross-functional team to lead the technical implementation of a Translation Management System (TMS) and provide technical support for job submissions, tech issues, and configurations. The position is available either in Mölndal or Barcelona.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive quality assurance processes for translation projects, including CAPA process, linguistic review, translation review in-situ, terminology management, and style guide adherence.
- Develop and manage terminology databases, glossaries, and other reference materials to support translation and localization efforts and product development initiatives. Liaise with subject matter experts, vendors, and other stakeholders to standardize and optimize terminology usage.
- Lead the adaptation and localization of the current style guide into all the languages/countries serviced.
- Implement and oversee the use of translation memory tools, glossaries, and other language technology to optimize translation quality and efficiency. Stay current with industry trends to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
- Collaborate with the Content Enabler Lead to implement a Translation Management System and end-to-end translation processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with Solutions Architects and engineers to establish integrations with other content management systems, such as CMS and DAM, creating a seamless flow of all localized content.
- Plan and execute testing and feasibility assessments for improvements and new features or requirements.
- Be the point of contact for troubleshooting any problems on systems integrations or job submissions and file processing.
- Provide technical support for any technical queries concerning all language services.
- Support content managers with any issues they may encounter during a translation job lifecycle.
- Train team members on CAT/TMS tool functionalities and new workflows/processes.
- Serve as the technical liaison with production teams to see how best to implement technology that may help digital/print projects.
- Collaborate with Content Managers to ensure efficiencies and continuity across systems and products.
- Work closely with the content director, content managers, and content editors to lead, plan, assess, resource, reuse, store, process, and manage content.
- Support and actively contribute with improvement initiatives and active feedback within the digital health solutions.
- Research and development in language technology, machine translation, AI, and related fields.
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of translated content processed through CAT tools and identify opportunities for improvement in translation efficiency and consistency.
- Enjoy working at a fast pace and in an agile framework.

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience as a CAT tool engineer.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong experience in natural language processing, computational linguistics, and AI.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with CMS and DAM.
- Familiarity with the translation and localization lifecycle in pharma or other highly regulated science-based industries.
- Good understanding of feature development lifecycle, agile ways of working (WoWs) and PI planning.
- Basic knowledge of web publishing, HTML, and desirable knowledge of SEO, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong proofreading and editing skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional setting.
- Passion for working within cross-functional global teams and representing customer needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Understanding of the clinical trial delivery or pharmaceutical landscape.
- Experience with Jira, Miro, and Figma.
- Experience working with headless CMS.
- Ability to work globally, including international travel.
- Digital project management experience.
- Experience in a highly regulated environment.
