The Team D&A Core is part of Digital Core. The mission for the D&A Core team is to Transform the data ecosystem to empower our colleagues with trusted data, which supports the company’s Data Vision of Powering innovation and every decision with trusted data.
To support this mission, D&A Core has 5 departments: Strategy & Transformation, Solution Partners, Platforms, Architecture, and Data Governance, working to provide what is required to enable data and analytics teams across the organisation to deliver value from data, whilst fostering a culture of collaboration and data excellence.
The purpose of the Strategy & Transformation team is to drive the cultural and organisational transformation required for the company to achieve its vision of powering innovation and every decision, and for D&A to transform the data ecosystem to empower our colleagues with trusted data.
What you will do:
We are looking for an Interim D&A Programme and Portfolio Lead to be a part of our D&A Strategy & Transformation department while the person holding this position is on paternity leave from May 15th 2023 until January 2024.
The D&A Programme and Portfolio Lead is responsible for managing the overall portfolio and programme of data and analytics activity across the company, ensuring there is a clear value attributed to the work undertaken, identifying interdependencies and risk, opportunities for reuse and efficiency improvements. This role also serves as the voice of D&A on strategic programs at Volvo Cars, ensuring where D&A has deliverables into strategic initiatives the work is prioritised accordingly. This role is supported by a team of project managers.
