Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a System/SW Engineer – Interior Vision.

At Safe Vehicle Automation, they create tomorrow’s solutions for active safety and self-driving vehicles. Within their AD&ADAS Platform department, they develop the complete sensor and software platform that enables functionality such as Collision Avoidance, Automatic Parking, and Autonomous Driving.

In the Interior Vision team, they have an ambitious roadmap to develop the new platform for Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS) to detect driver distraction and drowsiness, facilitating driver alert warnings. They are now looking for a System/Software Engineer to join their team and contribute to developing the new platform for future vehicle models.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design software and systems for the DMS platform, from architectural design to requirement definition, implementation, and validation/verification.
• Develop processes and ways of working to secure innovative and cost-effective solutions for the driver monitoring system.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Ensure the product complies with sensor performance requirements, cybersecurity, and system safety standards.
• Be part of a development team that handles its own backlog and works closely with the Product Owner to ensure a capable, modular, scalable, and quality-assured platform.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in computer science, electronics/electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in embedded system design, system verification, simulation, logging, and analysis tools, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Well-experienced in requirement management and familiar with relevant tools.
• Experience in software and hardware development for automotive sensor systems.
• Programming skills in any of the following: Python, C++, Linux, or similar.
• Experience with System Safety ISO-26262 is meritorious.
• Valid EU driver’s license (Category B).
