Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Fullstack Developer (Java) for Over The Air (OTA) software updates for their cars.

You will be part of the OTA Cloud Services team, which is perhaps working with the most exciting digital product right now: enabling car upgrades over the air. Anywhere. Anytime. Currently, there are two teams working on the same product, situated in Gothenburg. Our client ensures a warm and inclusive team culture with a focus on personal development. Many employees stay with the company for a long time, either taking on larger responsibilities within a product or expanding into the ART or other areas within the company.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be part of an agile environment within the OTA team.
• Empowered to bring requirements from the reviewing stage to production-ready functionality.
• Work with code reviews.
• Set up plans for architecting code to ensure top-notch quality and quick changes.

Qualifications:

• Fully proficient in both backend and frontend development with a background in Java.
• Enjoy solving complex technical problems.
• Ability to build scalable and well-performing solutions.
• Experience working with relational/non-relational databases, UX/UI, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Typescript, AWS/Azure Cloud Services, Kafka, and Angular.
• Understanding of working with agile team principles.
• Beneficial to have experience with direct client management, including taking requirements.
• Solid passion for user needs and user journey.
