Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Network Engineer.

Our client’s Network Engineers are responsible for planning, building, and maintaining their Enterprise Network & Network Security solutions, which their company organizations rely on. As a team, they are globally responsible for all solutions needed to fulfill this scope. They are now looking for Network Security Engineers to join their Enterprise Network & Security Solutions cluster within Corporate Digital and Platform Products. This role will be part of the technical transformation journey they are undertaking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage on-premises and cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
• Participate in assessing existing implementations, designing future states, and building transition plans for implementing Hybrid Cloud (Private & Public Cloud) security setups
• Work closely with their team of network engineers and architects to ensure the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and practices in their enterprise networking environment
• Support our client in building their capabilities to manage Cloud Infrastructure Network-as-Code
• Plan and support (act as 2nd/3rd level) Network Security functions for on-premises and cloud implementations
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices, making recommendations as needed to help their company develop and deliver cloud future state architectures and roadmaps
• Provide technical expertise and best practices concerning the overall security of the organization’s network infrastructure
• Document solutions and hand over to operations
