Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Tester in Embedded Systems. Nothing beats being part of positive change. Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the Test Strategy, Test plans, Test methods, Test execution, and Test Automation to be included in the Continuous Integration.
  • Analyze logs (e.g., DSA, Vector CANoe) and contribute to fault reports.
  • Interact with colleagues in the team or external suppliers to gain information about implementation, test results, and review documentation.
  • Utilize test vehicles, HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop), or test bench setups depending on the most suitable test environments for previous, current, and future projects.
  • Follow up on customer/field issues reported, analyze them, and drive them towards closure for all previous car programs already in the market.
  • Actively improve day-to-day ways of working.

Required Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience in CAN, CANFD, LIN protocols, and the Vector tool chain for Test and Verification.
  • Knowledge of Test/Verification Process and Methodologies.
  • Knowledge of System Safety standard ISO26262 and Cybersecurity standard ISO21434.
  • Experience in Python/CAPL scripting for automating Test and Building Bench setup/HIL.
  • Driving license (B).
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a tester in Embedded systems.
  • Structured, driven, with good documentation skills.
  • Proactive with a positive attitude and energy.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in analyzing diagnostic events and services.
  • Knowledge of AUTOSAR diagnostic modules and bootloaders.
  • Team player with problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of simple electronics/electrical HW-circuits.
  • Vehicle networking knowledge (e.g., CAN, CAN FD, LIN, etc.).
