Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer – Observability Domain.

In the Connectivity and Cloud Platform team, they work to build products that make owning a car better. They work on platforms such as Connected Car Cloud Platform, Telematics Platform, and Mobile Network Access to connect their cars all over the world. With these platforms, they enable other product teams to efficiently build customer applications on top.

The team is located primarily in Gothenburg and Lund, Sweden, and they also have teams in the US and in China. Many of the people you will be working with have experience from start-ups and global tech companies such as M, Spotify, Google, Ericsson, Microsoft, and Tradera.

You will be part of a team with colleagues in the same role with whom you can share and discuss experiences and problems on a daily basis. If you are curious, open to change, and self-driven, they would like to see an application from you.

Qualifications:

• More than 2 years of experience in observability of cloud infrastructure and services
• Understanding of technical architecture, development, design, and implementation of projects in various domains
• BSc degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent

Technical Skills & Platforms They Use:

• Frameworks: Docker, Kubernetes
• Infrastructure: AWS
• Tools: Splunk, Pagerduty, Apica, CI/CD Pipelines (Gitlab, GIT or similar)
• Experience and understanding of development methodology principles (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Lean, Kanban)

Additional Skills:

• SW Languages: Python, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, Terraform
• Automation: Ansible

Desired Attributes:

• Strong understanding of all aspects of the software development lifecycle and implementing new solutions to streamline the entire business process
• Ability and interest to support development teams within the observability domain and CI/CD related issues
