Assignment Description:

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an AR-HUD (Augmented Reality Head-Up Display) Developer for Driver Information.

Driver Information Team:

As part of the Connected Experience team at our client’s organization, you will be a key contributor to the next generation of outstanding luxury cars. Working with AR-HUD, you will be part of the Driver Information team within Connected Experience. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. What is AR-HUD?

The Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) is a projection device that uses optical projection technology to project ADAS info, navigation, speed limits, car speed, and traffic warnings to drivers’ fields of view in commercial vehicles, trucks, and economic vehicles. This technology allows drivers to keep their sights focused on road safety rather than looking down to obtain car information.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be a member of a tight development team responsible for delivering a proof of concept for their first AR-HUD.
• Work with cutting-edge hardware and software, using ”rapid prototyping” to learn what is needed for successful production software.
• Influence daily work and workflow as the project focuses on proof of concept.

Qualifications:

• Minimum B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in C++ and Python.
• Good experience in low-level embedded development (drivers, platform libraries, OS integration, etc.).
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience in working with 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge about Driver Interaction and Infotainment technology.
• Basic experience in Lua.
• Experience in the automotive industry.
• Valid European driver’s license B.
