Assignment Description

For our client, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud Application Developer with a minimum of 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and deploy robust cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS services and a strong foundation in software development. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and efficient applications leveraging cloud technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on the AWS platform.
• Develop REST APIs and integrate with frontend applications.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0.
• Utilize AWS services effectively, including AWS Transfer Family, S3, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, DynamoDB, SFTP, and AWS networking components.
• Implement robust data encryption and decryption using PGP.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Python and Java (SpringBoot).
• Conduct thorough unit and integration testing using pytest, Mockito, and Cucumber.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Adhere to best practices for cloud development and security.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java (SpringBoot).
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Transfer Family, S3, SQS, EventBridge, Lambda, DynamoDB, SFTP, and networking components).
• Deep understanding of REST API development.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication.
• Proficiency in data encryption and decryption using PGP.
• Strong unit and integration testing skills (pytest, Mockito, Cucumber).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
• Understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, security groups, route tables).

Good to Have:

• Understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
