Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer/Tester. You will join the Comwired Application team, an agile development team with a strong team spirit. The team is responsible for designing and verifying time synchronization technologies. As part of this team, you will have access to long-term development opportunities in a dynamic and continuously growing field. The Comwired team is a part of the Agile Release Train (ART) within the Common Base Technology (CBT) group, which forms the foundation for all electronic control units in the entire electrical system. The team follows the SAFe framework, working within 12-week program increments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Be inspired by the mission to provide customers with an enhanced car experience every day.
- Leverage your deep knowledge in software development to develop applications and enhance test automation for Wired Communication technologies.
- Develop software and technology within the team, with a focus on time synchronization and wired communication technologies.
- Support the deployment of the Comwired solution.
- Collaborate with and share knowledge with the CI testing team, verification teams, and other departments within the company.
Qualifications:
- You bring your skills and passion as an experienced software developer to expand your technical insights and build a network that includes colleagues from various areas of the company.
- You have a holistic view and a strong understanding of software development, programming languages, tools, system architecture, and design.
- You are experienced in agile software development and familiar with software development best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Software Development, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software development using C, Python, or C++.
- Experience with automated testing, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
- Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
- Experience in the architecture and systemization of software development.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, as you will be working in a highly distributed environment.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with test tools such as GIT, Gerrit, Wireshark, Canalyzer, CANoe, Android/Linux tools, and web services/protocols.
- Basic knowledge in base technology areas such as Autosar, NM, Network Communications, IP, and Timesync.
- Swedish driver’s license (B).
