Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Camera Systems Test Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions for camera systems. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that their camera technologies meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and safety.

Main Responsibilities:

• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts and frameworks for camera systems to validate their functionality, performance, and integration.
• Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated tests, analyze results, and identify issues or defects in camera systems. Work closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Test Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing requirements and create comprehensive test plans and strategies for various camera systems.
• System Integration: Ensure that automated tests are effectively integrated into the overall system development process, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and defect reports. Provide regular updates and reports on testing progress and outcomes.
• Quality Assurance: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that camera systems meet all quality and safety standards. Participate in reviews and provide feedback on design and implementation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C++.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Familiarity with camera systems and image processing.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining automated tests for complex systems, preferably in the automotive or related industries.
• Holding a European B driving license is mandatory.
