Assignment description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an EMC & ELP Engineer.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define, distribute, follow up on, and verify compliance with EMC & ELP requirements.
• Apply corporate and legal standards for EMC & ELP, covering both vehicle and component levels.
• Collaborate closely with the High Voltage & EDS teams.
• Enhance methods, tools, and processes to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Support the development of future strategies and technology roadmaps, including new technology advancements required to deliver new product content.
• Prepare status reports and provide feedback to project and line management teams.
• Serve as the company ambassador for the EMC & Electrical Performance team.

Deliverables:

• Ensure the vehicle program passes certification and life cycle testing.
• Deliver or compile a complete set of component test reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Several years of relevant experience in EMC and/or ELP development within the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronic Systems, Electro-mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Other recognized engineering qualifications combined with relevant experience may be considered.
• Valid work permit to work in the UK or the European Union.

Desired Experience:

• Practical experience with vehicle electrical architectures based on Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and FlexRay.
• Previous experience in project management or a similar leading role.
• Experience in the full product lifecycle, from concept to vehicle launch.
• Familiarity with automotive product development systems (VPDS, FPDS, GPDS, NPDS, etc.) and release processes.
• Experience delivering electrical systems in compliance with Safety & Security requirements.
