Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer to join their Thermal Control Team. The vehicle’s supervisory drivetrain control unit for electric vehicles requires current and predictive information about the temperature and available pack energy. The team develops advanced algorithms and support functions that monitor and protect the energy storage system in every conceivable way.
In this role as a Software Developer, you will be part of a fast-paced team that delivers state-of-the-art functionality.
Team Responsibilities:
- Implement and ensure the quality assurance of the Thermal Control component in the Traction Battery Software.
- Use Matlab/Simulink as the primary tools for implementing functionality.
- Utilize a complete toolchain for building the software packages, which are tested in MIL (Model-in-the-Loop), HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop), and vehicle environments.
Qualifications:
- Education in Automotive, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
- At least 3 years of experience in Simulation and Model-Based Design using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Valid B-class driving license.
