Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking an HVAC Developer in Electronics.
Department Overview:
The Climate Department is part of the Vehicle Platform unit within our client’s R&D division. They are responsible for the development and ownership of most components related to the climate system, including software control and customer experience.
The HVAC Team is focused on creating the next generation of HVAC systems. They develop most of their components through full-service supplier agreements. Product requirements and system performance are verified through design and product verification tests, design reviews, rig tests, and complete vehicle testing.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contribute electrical engineering expertise in all phases of the HVAC development process.
- Implement optimal solutions and ensure that components meet the high-quality standards of our client.
- Ensure correct requirements and status of deliveries concerning electromagnetic compatibility, electrical performance, electrical distribution, and LIN communication.
- Verify the performance and functionality of the HVAC and climate system by reviewing test reports, conducting rig tests, and performing complete vehicle tests.
- Provide expertise in the development of climate system solutions, subsystem design, and performing FMEAs.
- Plan activities and maintain the pace of development according to project plans.
Qualifications:
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of relevant work experience.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- Experience in product development processes.
- Strong knowledge in electronics design, software control, and communication.
