Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Developer. In this role, you will work with the team to develop and execute highly effective test solutions and test cases, ensuring fast and robust software development that delivers excellent customer functions.

As a developer with a focus on analysis and verification, you will work in an agile, cross-functional team. You will use your test expertise to actively coach your team members on all matters relating to quality from a testing perspective. This includes ensuring testability during architecture design or function development, writing test cases, guiding the team in test case creation, and automating regression tests. As a team player, you will contribute to achieving team goals and gain insights from other disciplines within the team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the team in test-related activities during design and development.
• Design, implement, and run test methods in an automated test environment.
• Perform system and function testing.
• Develop features in the test automation framework to enable more automated testing.
• Report test results and provide appropriate recommendations to stakeholders.
• Analyze defects and issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of a B.Sc. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in quality assurance of complex embedded systems.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Valid driver’s license (B).
• Experience working with Simulink development and C++.

Meritorious Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive and Body/Comfort systems development.
• Experience working with CANoe, Jenkins, and other test frameworks.
• Experience with systems such as Elektra, CarCom, or System/Car Weaver.
• Experience in test automation, programming, or model-based development/testing.
