Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a System Safety Engineer with several years of experience in safety for different types of systems and solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work as a System Safety Engineer and be part of a safety team responsible for system safety engineering of the core system.
• Conduct safety analysis and risk assessment of the defined system design, covering methodologies such as FTA, FMEA, and FMEDA.
• Define the Technical Safety Concepts for the product and identify Technical Safety Requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 and work according to the client’s defined system safety processes.
• Collaborate extensively with colleagues in the safety team, other teams within Core System Platform, and other parts of R&D.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of systems engineering, including embedded software/hardware in the automotive domain.
• Solid understanding of system safety engineering practices, safety standards, and product safety.
• Deep knowledge of automotive-relevant system safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 21448).
• Experience in risk assessment and analysis methodologies (HARA, FTA, FMEDA, FMEA) and processes/methods/tools for functional safety.
• Experience in requirements management.
• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
