Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their Platform Observability team. You will play a key role in supporting the observability stack used by application teams. The team works according to agile and scrum principles.

You will be part of our client’s Developer Experience organization with the mission to create a great developer experience by providing platform products that support high performance and productivity for their software engineers. Every software engineer and software team at our client’s organization is a potential customer, and they are focused on understanding their customers and how they can help them be successful and productive.

Note: This assignment is on-site, requiring at least 3 days/week in our client’s office in Gothenburg.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work closely with application teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Promote modern DevOps ways of working.
• Support shared DevOps toolchains at an enterprise scale.
• Engage in both development and operational work.
• Participate in on-call duties once every 5th week.

Qualifications:

• Experience integrating and supporting cloud-native observability tools like ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, InfluxData, and Azure Monitor.
• Familiarity with working in a product-oriented organization focused on Team Objectives and OKRs.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• Experience with Git Version Control.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Expertise in monitoring and alerting systems using ElasticStack, InfluxData, and Grafana.
• Strong scripting and automation skills, with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and Python.
