Background

Our client work mainly within R&D, supporting development projects and product units with specific knowledge and services.

Engineering Excellence is a team of about 12 colleagues. The team is working in the areas of Safety & Compliance, Technical Writing, Business Information Modeling (BIM), Sustainability and Tools & Processes.

When it comes to Sustainability, it is becoming more and more integrated in everything they do. They are now looking for a new Sustainability Manager to join the Engineering Excellence team to plan and lead the Sustainability work. In the meantime, while they are searching, they would need help with some Sustainability-related tasks to uphold the most critical services to the organization.

Scope

The assignment is expected to require up to 50% of a full time during ordinary office hours. Depending on the consultant’s experience in Sustainability and in other fields relevant for the department it is possible that the percentage could be discussed.

Primarily, the consultant will be working with Environmental Product Declarations (EPD’s) and Building Product Declarations (BVD’s). This work requires close cooperation both with their product experts in Sweden and in other parts of Europe, and with partner companies.

The consultant will also assist in other subject-related inquiries from the organization. This will often require that the consultant uses the network of Sustainability-focused colleagues from all over the company, should their own knowledge be insufficient.

Need to have:

• Understanding of and experience in working with Sustainability-related topics
• Ability to plan and lead their work independently
• Experience in working with product BOM’s
• Good networking skills
• Command of English enough to communicate with international contacts on a daily basis
