Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Engineer – Climate Control and Calibration.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop control models for cabin climate control systems.
• Create and maintain unit tests for new and existing functionalities.
• Calibrate models based on climatic wind tunnel testing, real-world testing, and subjective evaluations of the climate.
• Participate in climatic wind tunnel testing.
• Conduct on-road testing in cold, mild, and warm climates, including locations outside Sweden.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to deliver a great climate experience for customers.
• Analyze faults and complaints from the field to address issues.
• Test software integration in vehicles to detect faults.

Qualifications:

• Academic qualifications at MSc or BSc level.
• Good knowledge of thermodynamics and HVAC systems, including AC systems.
• Experience with Simulink and TargetLink for software development.
• Familiarity with ETAS calibration tools such as INCA and MDA.
• Experience with Git and Gerrit.
• Basic knowledge of diagnostics (e.g., UDS).
• Experience with Vector tools like CANalyzer or CANoe is beneficial.
• Experience with vehicle testing and test planning.
• Understanding of software testing at both the unit and complete system level.
• Good communication skills in English.
• EU B driving license (or obtaining one soon).
