Our client recently acquired a company in Izmir, Turkey and urgently looking for Customer and Process Quality Engineers for a project. They have four roles to fill and open for both senior and junior profiles. You will need experience in the automotive industry.

Our client is currently looking for dynamic, results-driven people to join as Customer and Process Quality Engineer at our Manufacturing Plant in Izmir.

 

Key responsibilities

Process Quality:

  • Scrap and FTP KPI owner – follow-up and actions
  • Ensure that internal quality issues are resolved in a timely manner together with other teams in the plant
  • Implement CAPA for internal quality issues
  • Work on continuous improvements by collecting and analyzing quality data
  • Responsible to ensure PFMEA is up to date with support from Manufacturing team
  • Responsible to lead MSA and Capability topics if process is changed
  • Project lead for complex quality improvement projects

 

Customer Quality:

  • Assure customer specific requirements are satisfied in the Business Management System
  • Understand and ensure compliance with customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Support and facilitate customer audits, be a contact point to customers.
  • Assure that findings from these audits are answered according to demands.
  • Leader of the Customer Claim
  • Customer Incident KPI owner – follow-up and actions.
  • Customer PPM KPI owner – follow-up and actions.
  • 8D answering time to customer KPI owner – follow-up and actions.
  • Warranty KPI owner – follow-up and actions.
  • Preparation and analyses before final negotiation of setting Technical Factors towards customers
  • Give input regarding quality/warranty to new development projects
  • PPAP administration towards customers
  • Support Change Management with changes/deviations
  • Ensure that customer portals are updated accordingly and in a timely manner.

 

Education & Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Two or more years of experience as Plant Quality Engineer and/or Customer Quality Engineer
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis
  • In-depth understanding of technical documentation
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Good analytical skills
  • Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data analysis/statistical methods
  • Additional certification in Quality Assurance (is a plus)
  • Minitab user (is a plus)
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge in FMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP
  • Senior, 8 + years
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • Placement is at our clients office in Izmir, Turkey but a hybrid workplace is possible and will be discussed individually. Although you will need to be able to be onsite in Izmir/Turkey occasionally.
