Assignment Description

Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Software Developer.

In their part of the R&D, they develop the Base Software Platform (BSP) for the Core Computer. The BSP provides computational power and enables successful integration between applications. Their teams work in an agile manner, quickly adjusting to changing requirements, using a state-of-the-art embedded multiprocessor environment from NVIDIA, including hypervisors, Linux, QNX, and other technologies.

The team integrates and configures DriveOS into the client’s setup. As a Software Engineer, you will simplify and abstract the complexity of the current configuration. You will work with scripting, setting up smart tools, and creating pipelines in a CI/CD manner to simplify integration.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work with integrating and configuring DriveOS into the Core Computer setup.
• Simplify and abstract complex configurations.
• Develop and maintain scripts, tools, and pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
• Collaborate within a cross-functional, agile development team to build and enhance the software platform.
• Support a-state-of-the-art embedded multiprocessor environment using NVIDIA, Linux, QNX, and hypervisors.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with JSON, YAML, XML.
• Knowledge of real-time, fault-tolerant, safe, and secure application frameworks.
• Experience with Linux and QNX operating systems.
• Experience working with Tegra chipset and DriveOS.
• Hands-on experience with Bitbake.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with file systems, network configuration, and boot configurations.
• Familiarity with agile development and continuous improvement methodologies.
