Assignment Description

Our client is seeking a Machine Learning Software Engineer for one of their product teams. As a member of this team, you will contribute to building a new AI-powered toolchain for product development within the automotive industry. The team is developing AI-based solutions to enhance automotive product development processes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop generative AI/ML models, such as GANs, VAEs, transformers, etc.
• Build robust modules for evaluation and drift detection.
• Develop and maintain machine learning pipelines and MLOps procedures to support production processes.
• Process and transform source data for use in machine learning pipelines, leveraging distributed computing environments and parallel processing techniques.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance of AI systems in production environments.
• Stay updated on the latest AI/ML research and advancements in life sciences and healthcare technologies to drive innovation within the company.
• Take full ownership and accountability for project deliverables in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, product managers, and designers, to ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into vehicle architectures and digital systems.
• Focus on building reliable, secure, and scalable systems for AI applications, including smart cabin and smart drive technologies.
• Lead end-to-end integration of AI-driven features such as in-navigation systems, recommender systems, and other intelligent in-car solutions.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant development experience and demonstrated knowledge of machine learning technologies (RecSys/NLP/CV).
• 4+ years of experience with data structures, algorithms, and software engineering best practices.
• Hands-on experience utilizing Generative AI technology for marketing texts, images, and videos, with familiarity in LLMs and model fine-tuning (instruct tuning, SFT, RLHF, etc.).
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Java.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
• 4+ years of experience designing and/or building distributed systems at scale.
• 3+ years of experience with the full ML development lifecycle using open-source AI/ML frameworks and public cloud platforms.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, AutoGen, MetaGPT, etc.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG, and fine-tuning.
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
• A commitment to ethical AI practices and robust security protocols to safeguard application data and user privacy.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
