Quality & Compliance Digital at Engineering

In the Quality & Compliance Digital cluster within Engineering, they are now looking for a Business Analyst Consultant in the Planning & Issue Management (P&IM) Team.

The P&IM Team focuses on:

  • Enabling backlog management, team collaboration, and planning through digital tools and solutions.
  • Utilizing various technologies and platforms.
  • Managing collaboration tools such as Jira (VIRA), Confluence, and Planisware.
  • Working as a DevOps team located in both Sweden and India.

The stakeholders are spread out both internally within their organization and externally with their partners.

Main Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders to understand customer benefits and needs.
  • Support backlog refinement in line with the Product Owner’s and team’s agenda.
  • Be part of the DevOps team, assisting with support tickets, knowledge articles, and training materials for around 18,000 VIRA end users.
  • Analyze and break down business needs, including impact mapping and dependency analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner and team to ensure that capabilities are well understood before implementation.
  • Ensure that communication outcomes are properly documented.

Required Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An agile mindset, experience with Scrum, and the ability to write epics, features, and stories in an effective format.
  • Experience understanding customer/end user needs and translating them into backlog items that enable team delivery.
  • Knowledge of UX processes and user journeys.
  • The capability to define business value in relation to product areas and surrounding value streams.
  • Strong collaboration, facilitation, and delegation skills to engage stakeholders and team members effectively.
  • Experience in information handling and information security/cybersecurity (meritorious).
  • Experience in video editing and handling knowledge articles.
  • Familiarity with the following tools:
    • Atlassian Jira
    • Atlassian Confluence
    • Preferred, but not necessary: Planisware.
