Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Test Object Engineer to join their iCAR group – Connected Experience.

In the Research and Development division, within Product and Quality, you will play a key role in contributing to the next generation of outstanding luxury vehicles. Together with engineers from around the globe, you and your team will develop innovative, human-centric car technologies that simplify and enhance the driving experience.

Infotainment is one of the fastest-growing areas within the automotive industry today. The competition extends beyond traditional automotive competitors to include innovative and fast-moving companies like Apple and its partner, Google. Our client has successfully launched cutting-edge driver interaction and infotainment solutions and is committed to continued success.

The iCAR group is responsible for developing, building, and maintaining test objects that are used by all teams in the Connected Experience division for software testing and development. These include subsystem rigs, automatic HIL rigs, and vehicles. The Update Team primarily ensures that test objects are up to date with the latest hardware and software.

Main Responsibilities:

• Updating cars and bench rigs with the latest developed software.
• Changing hardware components (ECU/Node computers) in bench rigs or HILs.
• Updating individual nodes.
• Fault tracing.
• Collaborating with testers regarding test objects.
• Planning and coordinating update activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering (or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Valid European driver’s license (B).
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
