Assignment description 

Our client is now in the need of a senior project manager who will drive one of their development projects for next generation fixtured tools. The project is currently in the end of the design phase and are starting up the industrialization phase so your mission will be to take it to serial production. In close collaboration with marketing, you will support launch activities and follow up progress and quality claims from field testing and selective sales orders.

Your main tasks will be:

• Lead a team of designers (mechanical, electronics and software)
• Secure design verification
• Collaborate with production to secure serial ramp up
• Follow up status from the field and take proper actions
• Define and align scope, time plan and budget
• Follow up and report status on deliverables, time plan and budget
• Drive the project according to defined processes

Your profile:

• Several years of experience as project manager for product development projects – preferable both traditional project management and agile ways of working
• Experience from leading cross functional development teams
• Experience from taking a project from design to serial production
• A true team-player who collaborate smoothly with all types of personalities and cultures
