Assignment Description

We are currently seeking two skilled System Engineer to oversee and enhance the IT/OT infrastructure and applications within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation, security, and availability of critical systems. The position requires on-site presence in Bulgaria, preferably in Sopot.

The ideal candidate will have strong stress tolerance and exceptional problem-solving capabilities, particularly in high-pressure situations such as unplanned downtime. In this role, responsibilities include managing the IT/OT setup, encompassing infrastructure, applications, and systems. This includes contributing to the development and implementation of strategic roadmaps while maintaining robust security measures, backups, and redundancy strategies. Ensuring efficient support processes and coordinating with external vendors, partners, and IT teams to sustain system reliability is essential. Additionally, the role involves supporting uninterrupted operations during production hours, addressing maintenance and service needs promptly, identifying and implementing improvements in systems and processes, gathering relevant data through assessments, and modernizing legacy networks into advanced IT/OT infrastructures. Proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to prevent system disruptions is also a key focus.

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated capability to maintain composure and resolve issues effectively in high-pressure scenarios, including unexpected system disruptions.
• Proactive mindset for identifying potential risks, mitigating system vulnerabilities, and continuously enhancing processes and solutions.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust security frameworks and data governance measures that protect both operational and business environments.
• Comprehensive understanding of IT/OT systems and their integration within manufacturing environments.
• Practical experience in managing and deploying IT systems, including application implementation, server virtualization, database administration, and network configuration.
• Hands-on experience with technical solutions and tools used in industrial and manufacturing IT/OT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of maintenance strategies and utility management principles to ensure operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in Bulgarian (native) and a working knowledge of English at a basic to intermediate level.
• Expertise in optimizing and harmonizing operational technology (OT) for manufacturing and information technology (IT) for business systems.
