Assignment Description

We are looking for a Interim Manager for the IT-local services team.

Role Description:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction within the Local Services Area.
• Actively participate in the Shared IT Services Management team.
• Set the example for leadership, personal commitment, and accountability in relation to P&O activities such as D&I, Feedback, and Change.
• Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs without compromising service quality.
• Develop strategic relationships with the incumbent vendor, ensuring alignment with service delivery plans.
• Act as the primary escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Develop, adapt, and execute departmental strategies and business plans.
• Lead and drive the Local Services transformational agenda to enhance service delivery.
• Proactively work with GIS and business stakeholders to ensure that Local Services are delivered according to business needs.
• Proactively communicate upcoming changes to relevant stakeholders and in the appropriate GIS Forums.

Requirements:

• You should have a relevant degree, such as a Master’s or Bachelor’s in fields like Computer Science, Information Technology.
• 10 years of relevant work experience.
• Experienced in leading IT Field Support, Regional IT Delivery organizations, or similar organizations.
• Experienced in leading distributed teams and organizations.
• Experienced from working on an enterprise level across different IT domains and with senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen and ability to align projects with organizational strategies.
• Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Driven, self-going, and structured.
• Adaptability and innovation.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• You should demonstrate the following in your daily work: Bold, Dedicated, Care.
• You need to be able to communicate fluently in English as this is the working language, both spoken and written.

For this assignment you will need to work from the clients office in Jönköping 50% of the time.
