Assignment Description

We are looking for experienced Java Developers to contribute to the development of backend services across various teams. These teams will take full responsibility for their code, including maintenance, modernization, and the development of existing services. The position requires working onsite in Norway for three days a week.

In this role, the responsibilities include designing, implementing, testing, and exposing backend services with Java and SpringBoot. It also involves documenting services and code while collaborating closely with business owners and teams to define requirements and technical solutions. The role supports the integration of new software libraries and the efficient reuse of resources.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as a Java developer
• Proficiency in Norwegian or Swedish
• Background in several of the following technologies:
  • Proficiency in developing and managing RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with API documentation standards, such as Swagger and OpenAPI.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
  • Knowledge of artifact repositories, including Nexus.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols, including SAML, OAuth, and JWT.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools like Bamboo.
  • Proficiency in working with relational databases, specifically MySQL.
  • Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Git.
