Assignment Description
We are looking for an EMC & ELP Engineer to define, distribute, and ensure compliance with EMC & ELP requirements. The role involves applying corporate and legal standards for both vehicles and components, while working with cross-functional groups to refine workflows and enhance overall productivity. You will support future strategies and technology roadmaps, contributing to new product content. Responsibilities also include preparing status reports and providing feedback to management, while representing the EMC & Electrical Performance function. During the contract period, you are expected to ensure vehicle programs pass certification and life cycle tests, with a full set of component test reports completed and gathered.
Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical, Electronic Systems, Electro-mechanical, Automotive, or a related engineering field. Equivalent recognized engineering qualifications combined with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Solid understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Several years of relevant experience in EMC and/or ELP development within the automotive industry.
- Valid work permit to work in the UK or the European Union.
It is meritorious if you have experience in project management or leading roles. Familiarity with the full product lifecycle, from concept to vehicle launch, and knowledge of automotive product development systems such as VPDS, FPDS, GPDS, or NPDS is advantageous. Practical experience with vehicle electrical architectures, including Ethernet, CAN, LIN, and Flexray, is also highly valued. Additionally, experience in delivering electrical systems in line with Safety & Security requirements is beneficial.
