Assignment Description

We are looking for a System Test Engineer with extensive experience in Basetech and Over-the-Air (OTA) systems to contribute to the verification and integration of electrical functions for upcoming vehicle introductions.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure the successful implementation of Basetech concepts and OTA functionality across various markets. In this role, you will be responsible for documenting and communicating problem root causes, supporting the creation of test specifications, and collaborating with both internal and external teams during test events. Fault tracing, analyzing log files, and offering technical support to suppliers and internal teams will also be a key part of your responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of diagnostic communication protocols, including UDS (ISO 14229) and DoIP (ISO 13400)
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive communication systems such as CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet, LVDS, and LIN
• Hands-on experience working with test automation processes
• Familiarity with test tools, including CANoe, CAPL scripting, DSA, Wireshark, and Python programming
• Extensive experience with vehicle fault tracing and diagnostics
• Solid understanding of SecOC and Service 29 security functions
• Practical experience with OTA systems, covering cloud, vehicle, and app interactions
• Academic background in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
• Strong grasp of electrical systems and architectures used in modern vehicles
• Valid car driving license and T1/T2 test driving certification

Experience with established automotive electrical platforms or equivalent industry-standard systems is considered beneficial.
