Assignment Description

We are looking for a Calibration Lead Engineer to ensure that electric drive units (EDUs) and powertrain control systems meet performance, efficiency, and regulatory standards. This role involves developing, optimizing, and validating calibration strategies while integrating them into the software development lifecycle.

A key aspect of the role is analyzing calibration data to identify trends and enhance system behavior. You will also lead root cause analyses, document calibration processes, and implement secure workflows to mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Additionally, you will oversee calibration activities related to torque delivery, efficiency, and drivability, ensuring alignment with ASPICE and V-Model frameworks. Collaboration with software, hardware, and system engineers is essential to validate calibration adjustments through vehicle and test bench evaluations. Compliance with ISO 26262functional safety standards and regulatory requirements in emissions, safety, and energy efficiency is also a critical part of this position.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with HiL, SiL, and vehicle-level testing to verify calibration performance.
  • Skilled in using Vector CANape, ETAS INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, and DiagRA D for calibration tasks.
  • Proficient in analyzing calibration data, recognizing patterns, and optimizing system performance.
  • Deep understanding of vehicle dynamics and closed-loop control strategies.
  • Expertise in OBD-II, UDS protocols, and failure mode analysis.
  • Strong background in electric drive units (EDUs), hybrid, and conventional powertrains.
  • Familiarity with ASPICE, V-Model, Agile, and Model-Based Development (MBD).
  • Knowledge of emissions, safety, and cybersecurity regulations in the automotive sector.
  • Experience with Git, SVN, or equivalent tools for calibration tracking.
