Join our client and strengthen their Product Area of Critical Care as a System Architect. They are now starting a new project where you will be instrumental in developing their advanced mechatronic medical technology systems. You will have significant responsibilities throughout the product development cycle, from concept to final product. They invite you to be part of their exceptional team.
As a System Architect, you will tackle complex interdisciplinary challenges, collaborating with highly skilled colleagues to find innovative solutions. You will contribute to the development of world-leading products in intensive care and anesthesia.
Your primary responsibility as a System Architect is to design these new products that deliver the required system functionality and performance. Strong documentation skills are essential to ensure comprehensive project understanding and efficient collaboration. Risk analysis and analytical skills play a crucial role in addressing challenges and maintaining the highest quality standards. This newly established team will be led from Sweden but you will have team members both in the US and India.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualities:
- Extensive experience as a System Architect, ideally within the medical technology or related field
- Passion for modularization and the ability to create reusable modules and subsystems
- Comfortable making critical technical decisions, thriving in high-expectation environments
- Interest in advanced healthcare and our products in intensive care and anesthesiology
- Customer-centric mindset, collaborating closely with customers and users to understand their needs through user studies and evaluations
- Effective collaboration within cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, testers, and more
- Thrive on working with safety-critical systems in advanced healthcare, where functionality and reliability are vital
- Proactive in learning and contributing to the continued development of our products, staying ahead of fierce global competition
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a System Architect
- Experience designing complex mechatronic systems
- Risk analysis expertise, addressing potential challenges, and maintaining high-quality standards
- Familiarity with product development in the medical technology field is desirable
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken and basic fluency in Swedish
