Assignment Description

We are looking for a Senior Database Specialist to support and optimize IT services within a complex infrastructure. The position involves working with both proprietary and third-party systems, focusing on database performance, installation, configuration, and maintenance. You will play a key role in identifying and implementing improvements within the database landscape. The role requires on-site presence three to four days per week.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive background in advanced database management
• Skilled in working with SAP ASE (Sybase), Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or similar systems
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in relevant roles
• Proficient in administering databases within Linux or UNIX environments
• Capable of conducting deep-level diagnostics and resolving issues in complex infrastructures
• Strong grasp of enterprise database ecosystems
• Methodical approach with a focus on clear and thorough documentation
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Academic background in Computer Engineering or related discipline
• Full professional proficiency in English
